About Me
Making the decision to seek the support of a therapist is a very personal process and often occurs when one wants to change an aspect of life. I work collaboratively with clients to build a trusting and compassionate therapeutic alliance, interweaving my training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Image Transformation Therapy (ImTT) with my background in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to make the counseling experience educational and empowering. I help individuals and couples improve the quality of their relationships by identifying and eliminate destructive patterns of interaction that are toxic and often grow out of anxiety, depression and old/unresolved trauma. I encourage clients to explore their attitudes and beliefs that impede (sexual and/or emotional) intimacy and relationship satisfaction.
