About Me

Thalia is a Certified Trauma Clinical Social Worker with a range of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with acute anxiety, grief, LGBTQ+ issues, gender dysphoria, co-occurring disorders, mood disorders, complex trauma, and life transitions. Thalia utilizes a somatic and attachment focus to facilitate the most safe and efficient evidenced-based treatment. Thalia is passionate about creating equitable, inclusive healing spaces to help advance social justice through valuing the dignity and worth of a person. Thalia earned her Master of Social Work at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2017. Thalia has experience navigating stressors in relationships and life transitions. Thalia uses multiple treatment approaches including attachment/somatic focused EMDR therapy and brainspotting, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, structural family therapy, and person-centered therapy. Thalia values the integrity that comes from understanding human relationships and finds it rewarding to support diverse communities through a person-centered approach, implementing evidence-based practices, and establishing linkages to appropriate resources.
