About Me
I inherently believe that you are the experts in your own lives and have the ability and resources to make positive changes. I feel that it is my job as a therapist to illuminate your strengths and to support the growth that you choose. I generally utilize a solution-focused modality that explores what is working in your lives, what you would like to do more of, and then we work collaboratively to identify and address your specific goals. I feel that it is truly an honor to be a part of this dynamic process.
Education & Experience
I began working in the mental health field in 2014 and have practiced in Washington, Oregon, California and Alaska. I did my undergraduate work at the University of Nevada Reno and then completed an MS in Human Services with a Specialization in Marital, Family, and Couples Counseling/Therapy at Capella University. I have served children and adults in private practice and community mental health settings. I also have assisted both teens and adults with alcohol and drug recovery. I have traveled extensively in my life and feel that my experiences help me to understand and meet the needs of my diverse clients. I can accept clients who are physically present in Washington and Oregon. Please note that I am only taking cash pay for services with my company Solutions Telehealth Counseling.
