About Me
My life mission is to help clients heal and free themselves from their past traumas which would haunt and shackle them. I do this especially by utilizing EMDR therapy. I am joyful and rewarded when I see clients break out of their trauma or even possibly generational trauma cycles and reclaim their original self. In addition, I have helped many sexual trauma survivors. I have treated over 1,000 clients with EMDR since I became licensed as an LPC in 2017. I currently work both in the Behavioral/Psychiatric department at Mercy hospital as well as Agape Christian Counseling Services. Prior to my current work, I have served a variety of populations including First Responders, Foster care, Homeless Youth/Shelter, Immigrants and Refugees, Inpatient Psychiatric, Seniors, Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders, and under-served clients who are in poverty and struggle with generational trauma cycles. I also volunteered on the Cheyenne River Reservation in South Dakota for two summers where I observed chronic community traumas passed down from generation to generation. I am fluent in both English and Japanese. I am also comfortable working with clients in need of the aid of interpreters in other languages.
