About Me

I help LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples achieve their mental health goals. Many of my clients come to therapy experiencing low self-worth and leave feeling like they can fully live their lives. My practice is person-centered and trauma-informed, focusing on skill-building and establishing trust. I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is an evidence-based approach to treating trauma. I tailor other therapy models, including person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), somatic psychotherapy, and expressive arts therapy, to meet the needs of every individual and couple. The relationship between the client and therapist is essential in therapy. I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where we can explore the rich inner world of thoughts, feelings, and sensations. Clients are the experts of their lived experience, and therapy is an investment in one's success and empowerment. I believe in the transformative power of honoring the mind and body—to heal and connect deeply with oneself and one's community—which I bring into the therapeutic process.

Education & Experience

With a background in the arts and education, I have 15 years of experience helping individuals attain their goals. I am trained to implement EMDR and other somatic modalities. My education enables me to incorporate evidence-based and person-centered practices in culturally sensitive ways.
