About Me
I founded my practice as a result of my personal journey and professional commitment to healing. Growing up in a turbulent and dysfunctional environment, I developed a deep understanding of trauma and its long-term effects, particularly the impact of prolonged activation of the sympathetic nervous system. This background inspired my dedication to helping individuals process and recover from the enduring consequences of trauma. In recent years, as I navigated the challenges of infertility, I recognized the profound emotional and psychological toll of reproductive trauma. This experience ignited my passion for supporting women through the complex emotional landscape of infertility, helping them navigate feelings of powerlessness and uncertainty. I designed my practice to provide a compassionate and safe space for clients to explore their past experiences and current struggles, regardless of what they are going through. My goal is to support individuals in gaining valuable insights, building resilience, and healing from both past and present adversities. I am committed to empowering clients to embrace their journey toward healing and growth. I currently provide virtual therapy for residents in the state of Texas.
Education & Experience
I completed my Master's Degree in Counseling and my training in EMDR back in 2019. I have been using EMDR for as long as I have been a licensed professional and have found that clients find it to be incredibly impactful and rewarding in their day to day lives. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy in conjunction with EMDR as I find these therapies work well to support and enhance each other.
