About Me
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois, and I've been in practice since 2008. I specialize in treating trauma using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a highly effective, evidence-based approach that helps people process and heal from distressing experiences. I work with adults (18 and older) and provide both telehealth services throughout Illinois and in-person sessions in Decatur, IL. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences and move toward meaningful, lasting change. Whether you're struggling with the effects of a single traumatic event or dealing with the impact of long-term, complex trauma, I’m here to help you navigate your healing journey—at your own pace, with care and collaboration.
Education & Experience
I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Since becoming licensed in 2008, I’ve worked extensively with adults navigating a wide range of challenges, with a particular focus on trauma. In 2023, I completed my EMDR training and am currently in the process of obtaining EMDRIA Certification. My ongoing professional development reflects my commitment to providing the highest standard of trauma-informed care. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients through deeply transformative work, helping them move beyond survival and into a space of healing and growth.
