Mrs. Alicia Lyn Siler-Wallace, LPC, LICDC, LMHCA, NCC

Preferred Name: Alicia

About Me

I hold dual state licensures in Indiana and Ohio for practice as a Mental Health Counselor & an Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor. I have a passion to serve clients who may have struggles with depression, Bipolar, PTSD, anxiety, suicidal ideation, or conditions that may lead to using substances/other addictive behaviors that can result in mild-severe impairments in daily functioning. Unhealed trauma often leads to a cycle to seek relief yet can lead to a debilitating circular pattern. I work with folks to identify the source(s) of problematic behaviors & collaborate with them to determine the best path forward with a solution-focused approach towards healing. I integrate tools & resources tailored to my client while providing support, encouragement, and empowerment for improvements in quality of life.

Education & Experience

I've worked within the fields of clinical mental health, addictions, & recovery through administrative work since 2007, informing my clinical practice since 2021 and earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) of Interdisciplinary Communication. This enabled me to serve in Development & Advocacy for domestic violence, mental health, & addiction/recovery agencies since 2007, while teaching Communication Studies part-time at Youngstown State University. Leading to a career pivot to serve clients directly, I earned a Master of Science in Education (M.S. Ed.) for dual track Clinical Mental Health and Addictions Counseling. My specialty areas consist of utilizing an Integrated Model for mental health, trauma, & dual diagnoses treatment. My practice within inpatient & outpatient settings ensures a variety of treatment modalities & techniques that can result in securing hope and healing.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
