About Me
You feel this lingering feeling in your gut … No matter your accomplishments, nor relationships, the wins or milestones achieved in your life, you have a deep longing that something is just not right. You might notice a constant tension or underlying sadness. Your past keeps creeping in... that accident, constant trauma, life-changing or frightening events. You sense your upbringing was a scary place as you struggle to get to sleep at night. You’re overwhelmed and frustrated and tired of striving for this “perfect” life. I specialize in a different approach. With Art Therapy and EMDR, our work together will first build your own creative approaches to gain balance and connection with yourself. Then we will use eye movements or tapping to process your painful experiences without going into every detail. EMDR will allow you to get memories unstuck so you can gain useful learnings and reduce unproductive emotions, thoughts and body sensations. You’re open to a new way of therapy. You don’t have to be skilled with art, simply be open to the process. When discovering your own rhythms, creating helps tune out the world so you can hear & trust your inner wisdom.
