About Me
Anna is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and MN Board Approved Clinical Supervisor with years of experience in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate their emotional and mental well-being. Her approach is rooted in empathy, compassion, and understanding, as she believes that creating a safe and non-judgmental space is essential for the therapeutic process. Anna is currently in private practice and specializes in working with adults and couples. She provides both in-person and virtual therapy to best fit her clients needs. In her free time, Anna enjoys singing, crafting, and spending time with family and friends.
Education & Experience
Anna earned her Master of Science in Community Counseling from St. Cloud State University - St. Cloud, MN in 2015. She began her career working in a sex offender treatment program where she specialized in working with both sex offenders, and victims of sexual abuse. She has provided individual, group, couple's and family therapy since May of 2015. Anna specializes in working with individuals who may be struggling with a range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and trauma. She utilizes evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) to help individuals identify and challenge negative thought patterns, manage their emotions, and heal from past experiences. Anna also works with coupled persons who are facing challenges in their relationships, whether that be communication issues, conflicts, or even infidelity. Through couples therapy, Anna helps partners to understand perspectives, identify patterns in their interactions, and develop new communication skills to strengthen their bond. Additionally, Anna has participated in specialized trainings to help individuals and families navigate the complexities of being in a blended family and/or co-parenting dynamic. Anna also has a passion for working with women and empowering them to recognize their own strength and worth. Whether it be managing work-life responsibilities, navigating relationship challenges, or dealing with symptoms of postpartum depression, Anna strives to provide a supportive and empowering space for women to process their experiences and develop healthy coping strategies. She is trained in a variety of treatment modalities including CBT, DBT, Blended Families Therapy, and is EMDR Certified.
