About Me
My goal as a therapist is to create a safe and warm environment to promote deep healing. I recognize that the therapeutic bond can be one of the most healing aspects of therapy, and my greatest passion is developing meaningful relationships with all of the clients I work with. My clients are some of my favorite people, and developing a strong partnership is the foundation of my work. Therapy with me is a collaborative approach, and as a team we will develop our work together to support your most authentic self. While I support clients with a wide variety of life experiences and concerns, a strong focus of mine is supporting survivors of sexual violence/abuse and gender-based violence. I additionally work with trauma outside of gender-based violence such as and not limited to, childhood physical/emotional abuse/neglect and accidents/natural disasters. I also have a strong passion for working with folks in the LGBTQ+ community.
Education & Experience
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with extensive training in working with clients who have experienced trauma. I have received training in various trauma treatment approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Accelerated Experimental Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). I place strong value and commitment in continuing my education and expertise, regularly seeking advanced training to best support my clients. I have received advanced trainings in topics such as: complex trauma, dissociation/dissociative disorders, parts work/IFS-informed practices, and issues specific to the LGBTQ+ community
