About Me

Hello! My name is Catherine. I offer online and in person sessions out of my cozy office in Hermosa Beach. I support my clients in healing anxiety and past traumas so they can build a deeper relationship with themselves and experience more connection, fulfillment, and joy in their lives. Rooted in the belief that the mind and body are inextricably linked, our work together combines cerebral modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Interventions with body-based techniques like Somatic Experiencing and EMDR to help clients develop mindfulness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance, as well as repair energy imbalances and harmful nervous system responses created in the body from past painful events. Through our work together, my clients experience a shift in mindset that allows them to gain a more compassionate view of themselves and others, and embody their most authentic selves. Clients often say that it’s like going to a mental gym –– a gym that helps you build the muscles you need to be the most confident, compassionate, and capable version of yourself.
