Cheryl Van Dyke, LPC
About Me
Originally from Upstate New York, I've called the Southeast home for 20 years. In my free time, you’ll find me spending time with family (which includes my two mini-dachshunds), out for a hike, reading a good book, and traveling solo to different countries in Europe. With over two decades of experience in the helping profession, I bring advanced training in health coaching and mindfulness, executive and leadership coaching, and a wealth of expertise as a therapist. Additionally, I'm trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to address past trauma and reduce the intensity of negative emotions and thoughts.
Education & Experience
Education: Master's of Science from the State University of New York at Oneonta. Experience: Over 20 years' experience as a Therapist and 6 years experience as a Health and Wellness Coach. I've worked as an individual therapist in private practice for the past 5 years. Additional work experience includes the College of Coastal Georgia (Personal Counselor), Noom (Health and Wellness Coach), and Conifer Park (Therapist, Inpatient Treatment for Substance Abuse and Mental Health).
