About Me
I am a queer, nonbinary therapist offering individual teletherapy sessions for adults in the state of Ohio. I hold a deep commitment to trauma informed care and an anti-oppressive approach to honor each person's lived experiences. I welcome all individuals, expressions, experiences, and identities. It is important to me to create a space where you feel valued, heard, and safe being your authentic self. If you're seeking a therapist who understands the importance of intersectionality and authentic self-expression, I'd like to support you.
Education & Experience
I earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) from The Ohio State University, where I gained a strong foundation in clinical social work and therapeutic practices. I have 7 years of experience providing therapy, building a diverse and comprehensive skill set to support clients through a wide range of life challenges. I have spent time on continuing education and specialized training, including EMDR therapy and EMDR crisis response protocols for individuals and groups (RTEP & GTEP), to ensure clients receive the most effective, evidence-based care possible. I have advanced training in use of EMDR with individuals who experience varying types of dissociation. I am dedicated to providing therapy for gender and sexual minorities, folks with complex intersecting identities, immigrants and refugees, students, and neurodivergent populations. I work extensively with adults experiencing identity exploration, adverse life experiences, depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, dissociation, grief, and life transitions.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am a WPATH member, having completed over 40 hours of WPATH Foundations and Advanced Mental Health Courses. I write Gender Affirming Surgery letters as needed for those who qualify.
