About Me

I am originally from a tiny little mining town in Northern Nevada. Much of my passion for mental health work stems from my early life experiences and providing services that were too often inaccessible to me and my community. Prior to starting my own practice, I worked at various nonprofits providing community-based services (literally meeting people where they were) for teenagers and their parents, caregivers and relatives; as well as at high schools across the Bay. More recently, I worked with individual adults and families through a private group practice in Berkeley focused on trauma treatment and EMDR. I work with teenagers, young adults and adults of all ages.
