About Me
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over twenty years of experience in mental health and social services, and five years of direct clinical practice. I specialize in working with individuals navigating trauma, including Complex PTSD, PTSD, and combat-related PTSD. Much of my work focuses on supporting clients as they heal from childhood trauma, toxic or dysfunctional relationships, sexual abuse, and military/combat experiences. My therapeutic approach is rooted in humanism, emphasizing the importance of the therapeutic relationship as a foundation for healing. I believe it is my responsibility to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard and supported. Trust is not assumed—it’s earned. Before we begin to explore the deeper layers of trauma, I work collaboratively with each client to ensure they feel ready and comfortable, honoring their pace and boundaries throughout the process. Healing from trauma is not a one-size-fits-all journey. I strive to meet my clients where they are, walking alongside them as they build resilience, reconnect with themselves, and move toward meaningful change.
