About Me

I am a divorced white cis woman in her late forties in a fat body who is bisexual and neurodivergent. I am a survivor of childhood sexual and emotional abuse. I grew up in a medium sized city in Iowa.

Education & Experience

I received a MS in Psychology (Clinical/Community Mental Health) in 2006 from Western Illinois University. I have worked in community mental health, sexual assault/domestic violence program, and home-and-community-based services prior to opening my solo private practice in Rock Island, IL in 2013. In 2024, my practice expanded to be three locations in Iowa, Chicago, and Kenosha, WI. I have also achieved the Approved Consultant credential from EMDRIA. I have well over 1000 hours of post-graduate training.
