About Me
I'm Kendra, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. My counseling style creates a safe, non-judgmental space for exploring thoughts and feelings. I use evidence-based interventions like EMDR, DBT, CBT, and ACT to help clients tap into their strengths, and identify and reprocess limiting beliefs, fears, and emotionally charged memories that can get in the way of growth and change. I know that taking the first step toward healing can be challenging, and I’m here to support you through it. If you’re ready to work toward lasting change, I’d love to connect. Reach out, and let’s talk about your goals and how we can work together to achieve them.
Education & Experience
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Wyoming and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Waynesburg University. I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and an EMDR Certified Therapist. My training in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy was completed through the Institute for Creative Mindfulness, an EMDRIA approved program. My experience in mental health and substance use counseling spans across different levels of care including inpatient, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient settings. This broad range of experience has helped me to learn and utilize a diverse range of integrated, evidence-based modalities to fit the needs of each client.
