Preferred Name: Kilsis
About Me
My name is Kilsis, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 14 years of experience in the mental health field. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds in both residential treatment and outpatient settings. I’ve also provided support to individuals managing chronic medical conditions, helping them navigate the emotional and psychological challenges that often arise alongside physical health concerns.
Education & Experience
I am a clinician with extensive training in evidence-based modalities, including TF-CBT, CBT, the Unified Protocol, EMDR (basic training completed), and Mindfulness-based interventions. I bring over a decade of experience working with adolescents in a residential treatment setting, where I specialized in treating complex trauma, emotional dysregulation, and behavioral challenges. In addition, I have worked as a medical social worker supporting individuals with end-stage renal disease (ESRD), providing psychosocial support, crisis intervention, and care coordination in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment. My background bridges both mental health and medical social work, allowing me to approach client care with a holistic, trauma-informed, and compassionate lens.
