About Me

I am an LCMHC in NC and VA desiring to help my clients find the fullest expression of their lives and the truest version of themselves. I work with all ages, ethnicities, races, worldviews, and backgrounds. I am a certified sex addiction therapist (CSAT), certified EMDR therapist, and certified clinical specialist for ADHD. I often utilize therapies like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), adaptive information processing (AIP, which informs EMDR), gestalt therapy, humanistic therapy, and reality therapy with clients, all in a trauma-informed way. Two of my favorite, consistently used meta-theories are the Life Model, which is neurotheological, and Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) by the International Center for Clinical Excellence. I have QPR (crisis relief), Triple P (Positive Parenting Program), RPC (Resource Parenting Curriculum), Seeking Safety (trauma recovery after unhealthy coping), PS-R (Practice Self-Regulation), and IATP-F (Integrative Attachment Trauma Protocol for Families) training. I utilize a strengths-based, multicultural, integrative approach.
