About Me

Lori is a psychotherapist practicing in Safety Harbor, Florida. She provides in-person and online therapy to Florida residents. Lori earned her master’s degree in mental health and rehabilitation counseling, and a certificate in marriage and family therapy from the University of South Florida in 2014. Lori provides her clients with a safe and comfortable experience so that they can work through the issues that hold them back from enjoying life fully. She provides psychotherapy aimed at releasing self-defeating thoughts, emotions and behaviors. She also provides psychoeducation and guidance on parenting and relationships. After basic EMDR training, Lori went on to obtain further training in ET-EMDR (Early Trauma Protocol taught by Sandra Paulsen and Katie O’Shea). The modalities and techniques Lori uses are proven and effective in helping people not only cope with their mental, emotional and relationship challenges, but also to heal, grow and thrive. Lori is a Certified EMDR therapist, and is also trained in attachment focused therapies, IFS, Ego State Therapy, and the Early Childhood Trauma Protocol, ET-EMDR. Lori has observed over the years that by incorporating the attachment focused lense with EMDR has proven to be the most effective therapies for deep and lasting healing.
