About Me
I have a passion for empowering clients to uncover their best selves. This passion has led to career opportunities that have allowed me to walk alongside children, youth, men, and women struggling with a variety of life challenges and struggles. I believe that counselling should serve as a safe space that allows us to explore and discover our path to healing and transformation. I understand the vulnerability that clients bring to the therapy room and work to provide clients with a non-judgmental and accepting environment. In addition to my foundational approaches, I am a EMDR trained therapist. EMDR is a powerful therapeutic technique can be especially beneficial for those struggling with trauma and distressing memories. By incorporating EMDR into our sessions, we can work together to facilitate deeper healing and faster progress on your journey. In addition to my private practice, I have also been a Intern Mentor in Share Family & Community Services Society PCN Mentorship program where I offered clinical supervision and support to graduate interns/practicum students. If you are struggling with stress, anxiety and/or depression, I provide a safe, warm, compassionate, and empathetic space for you to move through many of these struggles, along with practical tools to begin to make shifts and changes in your life. I believe in people and know there is hope for everyone when they feel heard, understood, and accepted. I provide counselling services in English & Farsi. Please reach out me to find out more !
