About Me
Hello! My name is Mayra K Pizeno and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, practicing exclusively in the state of California with current virtual offerings. I practice from a trauma-informed lens. My focus areas are supporting Clients like you to develop and enhance a toolbox of skills to manage the aftermath resulting from experienced major life impacting / traumatic events.
Education & Experience
I earned a Master of Social Work at Azusa Pacific University, graduating in the Spring of 2019. I obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Human Services from Cal State Fullerton in the Spring of 2010. I have over 16 years of combined community and clinical social work experience, ranging from non-profit, non government organizations and community mental health as well as in the for-profit medical outpatient setting. Each work setting has offered opportunities to learn and grow into cultivating who I am today as a practicing trauma informed clinician.
