About Me

Meredith Yuhas Gawai is a compassionate and dedicated trauma trained licensed professional counselor, specializing in providing support to 12 years old and up who have experienced various forms of trauma. Meredith sees clients who have experienced developmental trauma, sexual trauma, medical trauma, traumatic grief, and secondary traumatic stress. She draws from a range of evidenced-based methods including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and Movement and Somatic Therapy (DMT). Meredith enjoys working with other compassionate caregivers such as nurses, teachers, counselors, doctors, ministers, and non-profit workers who experience compassion fatigue and burnout.
