About Me

Molly Okeon is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and an EMDR-trained therapist located in Memphis, Tennessee. She is licensed in the states of Tennessee, Mississippi and New Mexico. She earned her Master of Science degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Memphis in Memphis. She worked in the field of co-occurring disorders – substance use disorders combined with mental health illnesses – and decided to expand her repertoire into therapeutic skills that address trauma when she realized how crucial it is for ultimate healing. Molly believes deeply in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship and is driven to help others find their way into a lifetime of mental health and success in all areas of life. She has a collaborative spirit and believes in offering effective tools and different treatment approaches to help bring her clients into the present moment with their lives so that they can achieve the life goals they have set out for themselves and even set new ones. Molly’s professional specialties include trauma, addiction/alcoholism and mood disorders. She is LGBTQIA+ identifying and affirming, and the majority of her caseload identifies this community.
