About Me
I care deeply for helping people heal the wounds of the past. I'm very empathetic and work at meeting people where they are. I use many tools to help clients feel calm and safe. I enjoy time in nature with my family, pets, livestock and gardening.
Education & Experience
Practicing in Iowa and Illinois, I've been a mental health therapist for over 16 years. Having a first career in education, I use a lot of psychoeducation. I'm a certified EMDR clinician, I have been actively using EMDR since being trained. I see clients for age 7 through adult.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
Member of American Counseling Association. I am a Director on the Board for Quad City Montessori School. I also volunteer by donating blood at the local blood center and Master Gardening.
