About Me
Rachel specializes in working with women, children/youth of all ages, and individuals recovering from trauma, as well as those in a faith transition. In addition to offering EMDR, she takes a strength-based approach and is able to pull from a variety of modalities for a custom-fit therapy, including Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Attachment Regulation and Competency Therapy. Rachel is trained in Youth Mental Health First Aid and Rape/Crisis Response. Additionally, she has had training in yoga, play therapy, and therapeutic expressive arts because she recognizes that trauma healing is a whole-body experience.
