About Me
In-person and virtual sessions. Are recent or past traumatic events causing you to freeze, feel emotionally overwhelmed or to re-live the experience? Would you like to manage feelings of fear, sadness and anxiety? You don't have to overthink decisions, avoid situations or feel triggered by recent or childhood traumatic memories. I want to help you feel calmer, confident and in control using your own strengths and EMDR techniques. You can stop self-defeating behaviors and move forward. I have 27 years of experience as a licensed clinician and over 24 years as an EMDR provider working with C-PTSD, Recent Traumatic episodes, Anxiety and Stress Disorders. I've provided EMDR to trauma survivors of the 9/11 terrorist attack, childhood abuse (sexual, verbal and physical), attachment wounds/neglect, sexual assault, gun violence, extreme weather events, and frightening medical conditions. I'd love to speak with you to answer your questions about this technique and hear your goals for treatment. Also licensed in NY (LCSW-R) for clients who travel seasonally for retirement, college or work. I offer a free 15 minute consultation to see if we'd work well together.
