About Me

Hello! My name is Stephanie. I am a clinical social work therapist (LCSW), and I specialize in trauma. I have an extensive history of working with mental health and substance use. I approach therapy from a holistic mind/ body perspective. I utilize evidenced based practices such as; Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well as attachment/ abandonment recovery therapies (and several other modalities listed below). I am additionally a level (2) reiki practitioner. Therapy is an incredibly intimidating experience. I aim to create a safe space for all of my clients. I specialize in trauma, and work with trauma related disorders such as; Generalized Anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Mood disorders, Major Depressive Disorder, and Bi-Polar Disorder. I feel confident working with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), as well as working with various children's issues. Together, we will work to build coping skills to mitigate your symptoms. We will process trauma to ameliorate the roots of those symptoms. Further, we will work together to rebuild your life. As a therapist I aim to remain calm and gentle. However, I will always challenge you to reach your fullest potential. I work with individuals ages 13 and up.
