We are each on a journey through this life. I am here on your journey and you’re on mine. I will collaborate with you every step of the way. You are the expert of your life, your relationships and your future; I honor that. I provide an open, affirming, thoughtful and reflective space. My training in systems theories, EMDR, Exposure Response Prevention for OCD, Brainspotting, sand-tray, trauma informed yoga, animal assisted therapy and nature based interventions provides a strong foundation for me to help you, help yourself. I will offer you a warm and directive, supportive and challenging space for you to craft your path to a happy and whole you.
Education & Experience
I completed my Master’s and PhD at the University of Akron in Counselor Education: Marriage and Family Therapy. I enjoy teaching and supervising provisionally licensed clinicians. My research goals are to integrate the therapeutic power of movement, nature and animals with individuals and couples. Further, I have specialized training in EMDR, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, I-CBT & Exposure Response Prevention, Brainspotting, Expressive Arts, Animal Assisted Therapy and Eco-Therapy.
