About Me
Specialties: Trauma Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Life Transitions, Grief & Loss, Peripartum & Postpartum Support, Military Populations, LGBTQIA+ Therapy is a space for healing, growth, and self-discovery. I believe in meeting clients where they are—without expectation, without judgment—so they can feel truly heard and supported. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each of my clients’ unique needs and goals. I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hood College, and am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). Additionally, I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and have received EMDR training from an EMDRIA-accredited institute. Currently, I am pursuing certification in Somatic Therapy to further expand my expertise. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions, and am passionate about helping clients navigate grief and loss, fertility issues, peripartum and postpartum depression, and resettling into civilian life after discharge or retirement from the military. I enjoy supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and those seeking to heal from trauma and its lasting effects. Utilizing evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, DBT, CBT, and somatic therapy, I help clients process difficult experiences, develop practical coping strategies, and regain a sense of control in their lives. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” who you are—it’s about building awareness, resilience, and confidence in your ability to move forward. One of the most fulfilling aspects of this work is witnessing the moment when a client overcomes an obstacle they once thought was impossible. Healing is a process, and it takes courage to show up for yourself. I’m honored to walk alongside my clients as they take those steps towards healing. Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with family, taking walks with my dog, reading, practicing yoga, and engaging in vagal nerve toning exercises—all of which help me stay grounded and present. My two favorite quotes/mantras that help guide & represent my therapeutic philosophy: "Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage. Truth and courage aren’t always comfortable, but they’re never weakness." — Brené Brown “These things will be hard to do, but you can do hard things.” — Glennon Doyle If you’re ready to begin healing, I invite you to schedule a consultation with me. I’m excited for us to embark on this journey, together!
