EMDR is effective for complex PTSD, but attachment wounding can hinder stabilization in Phases 1-3. This training teaches three key stabilization capacities, integrates DBT and experiential techniques for emotion regulation, and reframes “resistance” as an adaptive response, ensuring clients are prepared for reprocessing and positive affect integration.
